Run by sisters Carly and Jodi, we've created a space that feels like home: warm, relaxed, and full of flavour. OUR STORY...
We're Carly and Jodi - sisters, coffee lovers and proud Alveston locals. We've called the village home for more than 15 years, and for most of that time, we've dreamed of creating a little café right here in the heart of it.
Twelve years ago, we missed out on a shop in the village, but we never let go of the idea. When the building that's now The Square finally became available, we knew it was meant to be. What used to be an office is now our dream come to life - a warm welcoming space that we renovated ourselves, piece by piece (with lots of help from family and friends!).
Everything you see is us. From the layout and colours on the walls to the menu we've crafted and the food we make from scratch every day - it's all been chosen, baked, and brewed with care.
The Square is more than just a cafe to us. It's the result of years of patience, hard work, and love - and it means the world to welcome you in and share it with our community.
